Calgary Roughnecks 2013-14 Schedule
The Calgary Roughnecks are ready to go this season, prepared to take on the
best lacrosse teams in the National Lacrosse League. The Roughnecks are brimming with talented players this season that are
looking to make their mark on the NLL. The Roughnecks call the West Division home, a division that features some tough opponents
on an annual basis. Calgary was able to best their divisional foes last season, notching a 9-7 record that led to a division
title in 2013. The Roughnecks know that they're going to have to continue to play well against their division rivals in 2014
if they're going to repeat as West champs. It's never easy in the NLL, but the Roughnecks always see their fans show up in
big numbers to support them at home at the Scotiabank Sattledome. It should be another great season of lacrosse north of the
border this season, and you can be there in person to see all the great lacrosse action in person.
The Roughnecks are
definitely looking forward to getting it on with the Washington Stealth this season. The Stealth tied the Roughnecks in record
last season, but Calgary was able to take home the division crowd via tiebreaker. Obviously the Stealth will be out for revenge
this season, and the Roughnecks are going to have a tough game on their hands when they visit the Scotiabank Sattledome. Fans
will pack into the stands for this matchup and cheer their hearts out for a Calgary victory.
Another set of big matchups
on the docket for the Roughnecks is their games with the Edmonton Rush. The Rush also finished with a 9-7 record in the West
Division last season, and they also fell to the Roughnecks via tiebreaker. This is another club that will be looking to exact
their revenge on Calgary, but the Roughnecks aren't likely to just let them waltz into their home arena and take home a victory.
The Roughnecks actually close out the season with a huge matchup with the Rush on April 12th that could mean a lot in the
