Most of the time, when people think about reserving classical
music tickets, they anticipate seeing a buttoned-up group of musicians. While that is often true, it definitely isn't
when it comes to organist Cameron Carpenter. Cameron Carpenter throws all of the classical music rules out the window, and
he has earned a loyal following for it.
Cameron Carpenter is a Pennsylvania native who was born in 1981. He was already performing Bach on his keyboard before
his teens, and he was also an accomplished soprano vocalist. He spent high school at The North Carolina School of the Arts,
where he honed his organ skills. Upon leaving high school, he began attending The Juilliard School. It wouldn't be long until
fans were booking theater tickets to see him
live.
Cameron Carpenter went on to earn his Master's Degree from New York's Juilliard. Before long, he began releasing his own
albums, which earned him both critical and commercial acclaim. He released the album Revolutionary in 2008, which made history
by making Cameron Carpenter the first organist to receive a Grammy nomination.
With every release and every performance, Cameron Carpenter continues to push the envelope in the classical music world.
His innovation has earned him respect of those who have been in the scene for much longer. You can be there to experience
his performance yourself by reserving tickets to one of his shows at StubHub.
