Carolina Panthers Schedule in 2014

Everything is set up for a big-time run in 2014. The Panthers won the division last year and they took an important step towards becoming an annual title contender. The schedule is packed, the playmakers have a tendency to dominate when they're on the gridiron and the passionate fans are sure to be pouring into Bank of America Stadium to see all of the action first-hand this season. There is nothing quite like being there when the game is on the line and the Panthers are digging in, whether it's a home game against a division rival or an out-of-conference road matchup that everyone around town wishes they were going to. As soon as you're there watching the game the way it was meant to be seen, you'll be glad that you're not sitting anywhere else, as the Panthers are a team you definitely will want to keep your eye on this season.

When Cam Newton and the boys take to the field to see if they have what it takes to rise up the NFC South standings, there is only one place to be if you're a Panthers' fan, and it definitely isn't sitting on your couch hoping to get a glimpse of the game from the disappointing little flatscreen. Be there for all the bone-jarring hits, explosive runs and highlight-reel catches that will have you jumping out of your seat on a regular basis as the Panthers look to light up the scoreboard and win column this season.

The schedule is, unsurprisingly, full of exciting matchups, including Panthers-Buccaneers in Tampa to start the season on Sept. 7, a Sunday night game at home against the Steelers on Sept. 21 and a Thursday nighter that will pit the Panthers against the Saints on Oct. 19 – and that's just the first half of the season. In the second half, the Panthers take on the Eagles on Monday Night Football in Philly on Nov. 10, Panthers-Browns at home on Dec. 14 and the season finale on the road against the Falcons on Dec. 28.

Panthers Team Info

The Panthers are definitely no joke, with an exciting young roster led by Cam Newton and a talented defense that is clearly on the rise in the NFC South. Last season, the Panthers made it back to the playoffs after a very brief rebuilding period, and now fans are anticipating watching them take it to the next level as they look to give their fans another season loaded with twists, turns, nail-biting moments and unbelievable wins that everyone will be buzzing about.

But this season it won't just be about the Newton this season, as they also have a very tough defense (number two against the run in 2013) and some great new pieces added to the mix via the draft. Giving Newton some extra weapons, the Panthers picked up dynamic Florida State wideout Kevin Benjamin in the first-round then added a talented defensive end, Kony Ealy, in the second round. With a well-balanced team and some exciting new weapons, the Panthers will be looking to once again be a major factor in one of the toughest divisions in the entire NFL.

The NFL Experience

When your favorite team storms the gridiron for an electrifying matchup against a rival, you'll understand the difference between seeing them on your fancy TV and seeing them from the stands. Once you've seen the game the way it was meant to be seen, the TV experience suddenly feels like taking a look at the Grand Canyon on a postage stamp. Be there for all of the hard-hitting NFL action, from highlight reel runs and eye-popping catches to clutch throws that will have you jumping out of your seat in no time. With a game loaded with players headed for the Pro Bowl, it won't exactly take very long to understand why the NFL is the premier sports league in the country.

Panthers History

Carolina Panther tickets first became available in 1995, when the team was added to the NFL as an expansion team, bringing big-time football to Charlotte. It didn't take long to make their mark, as the Panthers advanced to the NFC Championship game in only their second year of existence, giving the Brett Favre and Reggie White-led Packers all they could handle that day before finally succumbing at the end. If you've never been out to see the Panthers in action, you have no idea how strong the ties already are to the community, as this is a fan base that is one of the best in the league. In an exciting new era with Cam Newton under center, NFL tickets to see the Panthers in action are sure to remain very hot around town, providing plenty of reasons to put down the remote, step away from the smart phone and join in the excitement so you can see exactly why the Panthers have become the pride of the Charlotte sports scene.

Panthers Trivia

Did you know that DeAngelo Williams is the all-time leading rusher in Panthers history?

The Panthers have had plenty of talent in the backfield, but nearly 6,000 yards rushing is enough for Williams to be the top rusher in the franchise's history. These days, Williams is still a major piece of the puzzle for the Panthers, helping give them the type of balance that makes them one of the most difficult offenses in the league to suppress.

Panthers Fans

Bank of America Stadium is going to be hopping with great fans once again this season, as the Panthers' faithful knows what it takes to give the Panthers the home-field advantage. There has never been a better time to head out to the stands so you can see the drama unfold before your very eyes as the Panthers look to dominate the opposition and give their fans another season filled with bone-jarring hits, spectacular catches and pinpoint throws that have pretty much become standard operating procedure over the years for the Panthers. As soon as you're there, with the buzz of the crowd rising with all the crucial moments of the big game, you'll be glad that you're not sitting else. Of course, you won't be thinking about your seat anyway, because there's a good chance you'll hardly be in it.
