Joseph Cashore, who designs and performs with these tiny actors, fell in love with marionettes when he was just a child.
When he was just ten-years-old he spotted one of these intriguing puppets in a shop during a family vacation. And although
the shopkeeper wouldn't allow the young boy to take the puppet off a high shelf, he soon got his hands on a marionette of
his own, and soon found his calling. Along with his puppeteering, Cashore also studied other types of art-portrait and figure
painting-getting a feel for the artistry that was the most beautiful and entertaining. With a Henson Foundation Grant, the
artist soon began creating and performing with his puppets. He was an instant success. His thoughtful and magical performances
earned Cashore fans from across the globe. He has even been given the UNIMA Citation of Excellence, which is the highest honor
