The Cat Empire formed in 1999 in Australia. They released a self-titled EP in 2003, and the following year put out an LP called Two Shoes that quickly earned them the notice of critics worldwide. They were superstars at home, and in America and Europe, were quickly gaining a following. Their music has continued to evolve and get better since then.
