        In response to the decrease of arts education in K-12 schools across the country, legendary opera and concert singer Marilyn Horne founded her own development, the Marilyn Horne Foundation, in 1993 to keep the opera dream alive. The Foundation presents several music-related performances and programs through the year, and the Celebrating Marilyn Horne concert is one more for the history books.
