The University of Central Florida only entered the C-USA in 2005, and has been selling D-I NCAA football tickets for a very short time. Formerly a D-III and D-II school, UCF began playing higher quality football the '90s, and have since joined the elite ranks of the D-I NCAA. Though the transition has been hard, the future of football at Central Florida looks bright.
The Golden Knights play in the brand-spanking-new Bright House Networks Stadium, which only broke ground as recently as 2006.
