With a speed of more than 160 MPH in 1999, Jeff Gordon absolutely dominated the field when
he flew around the track in his signature Chevy. Gordon would go on to finish the race in three hours and seven minutes on
that October Day, setting the gold standard for 500-mile racing at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
