If you're looking for concert tickets to
a math rock show, look no further than Chavez! Their innovative use of guitar has kept fans coming back to see them live since
1993. If you're looking for a fun way to spend your weekend, look to see if Chavez is playing a show at a venue near you!
Forming after the breakup of their original band, Chavez came together in 1993 in New York. The band rose to prominence
in the underground New York scene in the mid-90s, eventually gaining enough exposure to have a video of theirs featured on
an episode of MTV's Beavis and Butthead. Though the band never officially declared they were going on indefinite hiatus, the
group remained inactive until 2006. After the Matador Records release of Better Days Will Haunt You, the group came back together
to perform and headline at the 2011 All Tomorrow's Parties music festival.
Having performed since 1993, Chavez is no stranger to touring. Whether it's playing with Guided By Voices in their early
days or performing onstage with Pavement and Sonic Youth, the band's energy at every performance is what makes Chavez stand
out as musical artists in their genre. Check Stubhub to see if Chavez is playing near you soon!
