Chicago Bears Schedule

The Chicago Bears continue to have one of the most complete and explosive offenses in the league, providing more than enough incentive to head out and see them as they look to light up a few defenses and make their move in the ultra-competitive NFC North. The Bears have a tall order thanks to stiff competition from Green Bay, Detroit and Minnesota, but that is part of the fun as the Bears routinely go up against some of the top teams in the league on a regular basis, creating some serious rivalries that continue to bring fans out in droves. With the Bears looking to make their move and live up to their enormous upside, there has never been a better time to head out and see what all of the excitement is about.

Of course, part of the fun of a Bears' season is that Soldier Field remains one of the very best places in the world for a big-time sporting event. This is a venue that has been around for decades and generations and remains an iconic part of the city, which is why there isn't a better place to be once it's game day and the Bears are gearing up for a big-time matchup. Against Detroit and New Orleans coming down the final portion of the regular season, you can count on the fanfare to be pretty incredible at Soldier Field while the Bears look to pull down some prominent wins.

You also definitely can't forget about the road part of the schedule, as every Bears' fan needs to sooner or later get out to see their favorite team on the road. TCF Bank Stadium in Minnesota is sure to be hopping as the Bears finish the regular season, as the Vikings-Bears rivalry is one of the very best in the NFL. Add it all up and there are still some incredible opportunities for fans looking to head out and see the Bears do their thing on their quest to finish strong coming down the home stretch.

Chicago Bears Team Info

Led by Jay Cutler and stud running back Matt Forte, the Bears have been doing some serious damage on the offensive end recently, helping to make them one of the top units in the NFL. In just his second season in the NFL, Alshon Jeffery showed that he was definitely not still learning the ropes, as he tore up defenses all season long to the tune of 1,421 yards and seven touchdowns. Not only did he become a hero to fantasy football owners all over the world, but he showed that the Bears are no longer a team that has to rely solely on defense, though the Bears' D remains ferocious as they continue to be a major factor in the NFC North.

The NFL Experience

When the Bears take to the gridiron this season, you'll feel the excitement in the air, as the atmosphere around the National Football League is consistently palpable. Watching the game from home doesn't seem to compare to being there for all the biggest games, and Bears fans that have been to Soldier Field know that to be the case. There's definitely a contagious atmosphere to an NFL game, where you'll find yourself surrounded by thousands of fans who love to root for the same team that you do. With the clock ticking down late in the fourth quarter in a game that is still very much up in the air, you might just find yourself completely hooked on the gridiron excitement.

Bears History

The Chicago Bears franchise was formed in Decatur, Illinois all the way back in 1919 before moving to Chi-Town two years later. This is a team that found success early on, winning more than a handful of NFL Championships in the pre-merger National Football League, including four in the 1940s alone. They would then go on to win the Super Bowl in 1985 with one of the best defenses in the history of football, led by renowned head coach Mike Ditka and playmakers like Mike Singletary and William "The Fridge Perry." The Bears have also won the NFC North division three times and always seem to be in the hunt for the division title. Chicago has called Soldier Field home since 1971, making the venue a staple when it comes to the Bears organization. With such a great legacy and an exciting current roster that has a promising future ahead of it, the Bears remain an integral part of the bustling Chicago sports scene, making it always a great idea to snag your favorite team gear so you can head out and join in the bone-jarring excitement.

Bears Trivia

Do you know who holds the all-time receiving record for the Bears?

The answer is Johnny Morris, who tallied 5,059 yards receiving while playing for the Bears between 1958 and 1967. Though that's a high number in any era, what's even more impressive is that Morris did it in a non-passing era with only 12 and then 14 regular season games being played during various parts of his career. It all really came together for Morris in 1964, as Morris racked up a fairly ridiculous (for the times) 93 catches for 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns in 14 games, which all led the league that year.
