The Chicago Bulls - Schedule in 2013-14
The Chicago Bulls are ready to run over the competition in 2013-14 as they
host some of the top teams in the National Basketball Association at the United Center. The Bulls are a defensive-minded team
led by head coach Tom Thibodeau, one of the best coaches in the league right now. The team has lost two of their best players
this season, one to injury and the other to trade, yet still the Bulls remain determined to win as many games as possible.
Seeing Derrick Rose go down with a season-ending injury could not have possibly sat well with any NBA fan early this season,
but the Bulls have persevered and have a solid rotation that can get a win on any given night thanks to their toughness and
defensive discipline. The trade of Luol Deng was another blow to the roster, but the team is looking for budding youngster
Jimmy Butler to pick up some of the slack in Deng's absence. The Bulls play in the Central Division, where some of the toughest
teams in the Eastern Conference reside. Chicago made it to the postseason last year, and could again be in contention for
the playoff spot this time around if they can win some big games at home. Some of the best teams in the conference will regularly
set foot in the United Center looking to take home a win, but the Bulls won't allow that to occur without a fight.
Bulls will certainly be looking forward to taking on the Indiana Pacers this season. The Pacers are a division rival of the
Bulls, and the team that won the Central Division last season. Many people expect the Pacers to again finish the year atop
the division standings, but the Bulls will look to take down Indiana every time they come to the United Center this season.
The Pacers have an emerging superstar in Paul George, who set the postseason on fire last year. George is blossoming into
one of the best two-way players in the NBA, and an offensive threat that is capable of taking over a game at any time. George
isn't forced to do it alone on the court, though, as he is surrounded by one of the best supporting casts in the entire league.
With center Roy Hibbert patrolling the paint down low, opponents struggle to get easy shots at the rim. Hibbert routinely
turns shots away, or at least alters them, and the rest of the roster is filled with quality defensive players. If the Bulls
can find a way to outdo Indiana on the defensive end, they could be in for some big victories against one of the top teams
in the NBA this season.
Another team that will visit the United Center this season is the Miami Heat. The Heat have
won two NBA Championships in a row, and the Bulls know that they're in for a really tough game any time Miami hits the Windy
City. Miami has the best player in the league in LeBron James, a player that has won multiple Most Valuable Players awards
and would be a Hall-of-Famer if he retired after this season despite being in his prime right now. The Heat play an unorthodox
style of basketball, not worrying about positions much and playing a swarming style of defense that forces opponents into
a lot of mistakes. If the Bulls can steal a victory or two away from Miami this season if would be a great confidence boost
for a team that may need it.
The Chicago Bulls are a professional basketball team that is a part
of the National Basketball Association. As a member of the Central Division of the Eastern Conference, the Bulls often face
teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks. The Bulls spent the offseason in
anticipation of Derrick Rose's return, only to see the former Most Valuable Player suffer another injury early in the season.
The team also saw Luol Deng get shipped to Cleveland via a midseason trade, leaving this team looking quite a bit differently
than many anticipated heading into the season. However, this team is able to adapt to these circumstances, mostly due to their
ability to play good defense every night out. With Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler leading the charge with their contributions
on the both ends of the court, this team cannot be counted out of postseason contention.
atmosphere at an NBA game is simply electric every time you head out to the arena, but the electricity you'll find in the
stands at the United Center is hard to equal. This arena has seen some amazing games over the years, and there are surely
more to come this season. Make sure to hit the stands to see this team make some incredible plays against other top teams
in the Eastern Conference.
