If you remember the '80s, then you probably need to check out Chickenfoot. For the price of seeing one band, you get members from a handful of them: The band is fronted by Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and guitar whizz Joe Satriani. If that sounds like a show that will blow you away, it's because it is.
Chickenfoot formed in 2008, bringing together members of a number of major '80s rock bands. The band grew out some informal jam sessions held at the Cabo Wabo Cantina, Hagar's Mexican hangout. The following year, the band released a self-titled record and started touring. As you can expect, they pulled in teeming crowds based on their name power alone.
Chickenfoot tickets are available now but selling fast, so if you had it in mind to catch this hot act before the end of their tour, you had better act quickly.
