from Tappahannock, Virginia, Chris Brown enjoyed singing in his church choir as a child. He was additionally inspired by such

on "Picture Perfect." Around the same time, Brown went back to the silverscreen, taking a more solid role in This Christmas
(2007). Brown made headlines in 2009 when he was arrested for allegedly battering his then-girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown managed
to soldier on despite the backlash. He cut the albums F.A.M.E. in 2011 and Fortune in 2012.
