Cincinnati Bearcats Football Schedule in 2014

After several teams from the Big East moved over to the AAC it became one of the more exciting conferences in college football. The Bearcats had an impressive inaugural season in the American Athletic Conference, finishing in third place with a 6-2 conference record and a 9-4 overall record. The Cincinnati Bearcats are ready to tear into the competition this season in their hunt for the conference crown. The Bearcats have big hopes for quarterback Gunner Kiel, who was a standout in the team's spring game. Kiel was the best quarterback recruit in the nation when he left high school, and after a season on the bench at Notre Dame the signal caller decided to transfer to Cincinnati. If Kiel is ready to handle the offense, the Bearcats could be in for a huge year. This Bearcats team is hoping to turn out an even better campaign in their new conference in 2014. If Cincinnati can finish atop the AAC standings in just their second year there, it could send a huge message to the rest of the AAC that they mean business.

Cincinnati has a ton of exciting match ups on their schedule at home this season, making it a great year to get out to the stadium for all the biggest games. The Bearcats have a few big time games early in the season against other Ohio programs. The first comes when the Toledo Rockets come to town on September 13th to battle Cincinnati at Paul Brown Stadium. This is a long standing rivalry that will once again be renewed in 2014 and doubles as the Bearcats' home opener so you can expect the energy in the stadium to be overwhelming. The next team to come to town is the Miami of Ohio RedHawks who will also be battling the Bearcats for in state bragging rights. This should be another exciting season of Bearcats football so be sure to take a look at the schedule here on StubHub to see when you can make it out to Paul Brown Stadium.

The Bearcats have a lot of great matchups that all lead to their final home contest on December 6th when the Houston Cougars come to town. The Cougars are not going to make things easy on the Bearcats, but this could turn out to be a big win to close things out at home in 2014. The stands are sure to be packed for this game.
