Cincinnati Reds Spring Training tickets

Cincinnati Reds Spring Training tickets - Reds Spring Training Schedule

2015 Cincinnati Reds Spring Training Schedule

As a major component of the N.L. Central, the Cincinnati Reds are always in the middle of one intense season or another, and they'll be looking to do it all over again in 2015 as the Reds look to elevate their game and make their move up the standings. You definitely don't have to wait until the regular season, however, as it all gets rolling in the spring as the Reds head down to Goodyear Ballpark just west of Phoenix, where all of the camaraderie comes together in a big way surrounding this ball club. Though the regular season is obviously great, it's in the spring that you'll get a completely different perspective on your favorite team and you'll end up with a much closer look at the Reds, providing more than enough incentive to head out and join in the fun this time around.

In 2014, the Reds weren't able to put it all together but they did show some serious promise, including seasons from Todd Frazier, Billy Hamilton and Johnny Cueto. Cueto in particular took his game to the next level, winning 20 games thanks to a ridiculous 2.25 ERA, which might have been good enough for the Cy Young if it wasn't an all-time great season from Clayton Kershaw. With the Reds looking to come together and reach their enormous potential this time around, it all gets rolling in the spring as the rising stars look to make a name for themselves and the established vets look to work out the kinks.

There are also all kinds of great matchups on the schedule, providing even more reasons to make the trip down and participate in the Cactus League fun. Against teams like Cleveland, Kansas City, Arizona, Seattle, Los Angeles and more, the Reds will get to go up against some of the star-studded teams in the league, providing for some incredible action along the way as the Reds dazzle their audience down under the Arizonian sunshine. Once you're there in the middle of the action, you'll definitely be glad that you decided to head down and be a part of another great spring training.

Cincinnati Reds Team Info

Backed by Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Todd Frazier and a talented surrounding roster filled with players who can do it all, the Reds have the roster to make another run at a world title, making it the perfect time to get out and show your support as the Reds look to pile up the wins. The schedule is as loaded with great match ups as ever, and each one is an opportunity to get out and see baseball played at the highest possible level. This is the type of team that has the talent to match the tradition of excellence that they've built up over the years, giving you plenty of reasons to head out and see what all the excitement is about as the Reds look to take the next step towards a World Series ring. Thanks to some serious upside and a roster that can win in a variety of different ways, it's not a secret why there is so much passion and fanfare surrounding the Reds.

Cincinnati Reds Spring Training Experience

Though regular season games are obviously musts for Reds' fans, every fan needs to get out to a huge spring training matchup sooner or later. Once you're there on a beautiful early spring day with the Reds hitting the field looking to put it all together for another promising season, you'll understand with clarity why the Reds have one of those teams that you just don't want to miss out on. When it comes to spring training, absolutely anything can happen, and you'll be treated to some of the brightest stars of both today and tomorrow as they look to shake off the rust of the offseason and put on a show for the fans. With a plethora of autograph opportunities and other events that will give you an unprecedented look at your favorite team, it won't be hard to see that it doesn't get any better than this.

Cincinnati Reds History

You could have purchased MLB tickets for the Reds all the way back in the late-1800s, as the Reds have one of the oldest franchises in professional sports. The "Big Red Machine" of the 1970s produced multiple World Series titles, and many famous players and games, including Pete Rose and Johnny Bench as well as Joe Morgan. With the Reds looking to capture their first title since 1990, there has never been a better time to be a fan as they continue to put together balanced teams that have all kinds of talent. Thanks to a long legacy of success and a bright future, the Reds come with plenty of chatter no matter where they end up hitting the diamond.

Cincinnati Reds Trivia

Who holds the Cincinnati record for homers in a season?

The answer is George Foster, the power-hitting lefty who ended up smacking 52 homers in 1977 to mark one of the best hitting seasons in franchise history. That year, Foster would also set the team record for total bases with 388.

Cincinnati Reds Fans

Don't make the mistake of thinking that the Reds' season starts in April, as they first get together down in Phoenix as a major part of the Cactus League. That's where the Reds first start getting a feel for the game again and shake off the dust, and before long their belting balls out of the park and lighting up crowds with sensational defensive plays. After a long winter, spring and baseball just go together perfectly, providing plenty of incentive to head down and watch the Reds as they gear up for the season down in Phoenix. Spring training has been a tradition around Major League Baseball for a very long time, and it only seems to get more and more exciting from one season to the next. The Cactus League routinely brings together some great teams and allows for a little more playing time for the up-and-coming stars, making this a unique series of events that always has fans excited from the get-go.
