Classic Albums Live Schedule
Classic Albums Live is comprised of talented musicians who meticulously recreate the
albums that you know and love from such iconic bands as Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Fleetwood
Mac, The Doors and Van Halen.
As series producer Craig Martin put it, "All of our focus is put into the music. We perform
the works of the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin the same way an orchestra performs the works of Mozart. We don't bother
with imitation or impersonation. The bands are big - upwards of 11 pieces. We research these albums and go to great lengths
to reproduce each and every sound live. We never use tape or computers. We'll bring in a children's choir, a sitar player,
a string quartet, whatever it takes to get it right."
Note for note, cut for cut, Classic Albums Live honors and celebrates
these legendary bands in an authentic way. And a new group of musicians is assembled for each album.
Martin said it's
a tedious task: "That's the real challenge. Finding the right musicians for the right album. So far we've been bang on with
In the past, musicians have included members of Jesse Cooke, Nelly Furtado, Moist, David Usher,
Honeymoon Suite and the Headstones.
