Cleveland Cavaliers Schedule in 2014-15
The Cleveland Cavaliers are ready to hit the hardwood this season in search
of an NBA Championship as they take on some of the best teams in the league. The Cavaliers are looking to capitalize on a
somewhat shaky Eastern Conference this season and make waves with superstar LeBron James back in a Cavs uniform. LeBron's
return should take this team from a lottery team to a contender for the conference crown, but with a young roster surrounding
King James it's difficult to forecast just how good they'll be this season. The Cavs call the Central Division home, a division
that also features such quality teams as the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers, which are just two of the tough teams that
will come into Quicken Loans Arena in 2014-15 to take on Cleveland on the court. Fans will be packing the stands this season
to see King James and the rest of the Cavs, and you can be there to join them.
The Cavs will definitely be looking forward
to hosting the Chicago Bulls, a team that very well could be the favorite to win the Eastern Conference title this season.
The Bulls are expecting the return of a healthy Derrick Rose after essentially two lost seasons. If Rose can return to form,
this Bulls team suddenly becomes extremely dangerous. The Bulls' addition of Pau Gasol should help fortify things up front
for this Chicago team, an area of uncertainty for Cleveland. James will certainly need his supporting cast to step up when
the Bulls come to town this season.
A much-anticipated game will surely come when the Miami Heat come to Cleveland this
season. James spent the last four years in Miami as a member of the Heat, winning two NBA Championships in the process. James
decided to leave Miami in the offseason, but former running mates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade remained in South Beach. With
Luol Deng taking over for James at the three, the Heat still look to have a very strong team. LeBron will likely do whatever
it takes to get the victory when the Heat come to town this season, and it should be a fantastic game that any hoops fan would
love to see in person. The Cavs will see plenty of other good teams come to Quicken Loans Arena this season as well.
Cleveland Cavaliers Team Info
The Cleveland Cavaliers just had the kind of offseason that dreams are made of.
Four years after the heart-breaking departure of hometown hero LeBron James, the best basketball player in the world decided
to come home. James got four Eastern Conference titles and two NBA Championships in Miami, and now he has returned to bring
a title to his home state of Ohio. James is undoubtedly the best basketball player on the planet, and he is already destined
to do down as one of the best players in the history of the sport. James will join a young roster, though, so challenges are
expected to arise. The Cavs inked star point guard Kyrie Irving to a massive extension this offseason as well, ensuring James
has a top-flight running mate on the court. But James and Irving can't win an NBA title by themselves. It will be very interesting
to monitor the development of Andrew Wiggins, the number one pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Wiggins is a raw athlete with a very
high ceiling, but how ready he will be to contribute consistently this season is up for debate. Other youngsters like Dion
Waiters, Tristan Thompson and 2013 number one pick Anthony Bennett will certainly play huge roles for this team going forward,
and don't forget about big man Anderson Varejao, who will anchor the interior defense for this Cleveland club. With James
on board, the Cavs certainly seem capably at making a run at the Eastern Conference title in year one, but it remains to be
seen if they can pull it off.
When it comes to the National Basketball League, the best
way to take in a game is right your seat right there in the arena. Once tip-off rolls around the crowd will have reached a
level of anticipation that is contagious, and you'll find yourself at the edge of your seat, ready to see some top-rate hoops
action. These athletes will wow you with what they're capable of on the basketball court, and the only way to really experience
it all is to be there in person. If you've never been out to a Cavs game, then this is the season to change that. Nothing
beats being there in the stands when one of the best players in the league make the game-winning play at the buzzer.
