Many music fans already know Cody Canada, if not by name. Cody Canada is the frontman of the famed Southern rock group
Cross Canadian Ragweed. The band is known for such country-meets-rock songs as "Sick and Tired," "Fightin' For" and "This
Time Around." Now, Cody Canada is ready to make a mark on his own, and he has booked tour
dates to do just that.
Cody Canada has embarked on the next chapter of his storied Southern-fried rock career. He put together a new band called
The Departed and began releasing singles on his own. Some of the style is similar to Cross Canadian Ragweed, but it has a
flair all its own. Like his previous band, Cody Canada's music is best enjoyed at one of his live
shows.
Cody Canada played with Cross Canadian Ragweed for more than a decade, beginning in the mid 1990s. The members eventually
decided to go their separate ways musically, and Cody Canada quickly began creating his own brand of music. Fans of Cross
Canadian Ragweed aren't going to want to miss seeing Cody Canada live in concert now that he is on his own.
