America starting with a January 10th show at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, followed by a show in Los Angeles at
the El Rey the following night. It's off to Detroit on January 15th for a show at Saint Andrews Hall and then two shows at
Virgin Mobile Mod Club in Toronto on the 16th and 17th. One more show in Canada on the 18th at Virgin Mobile Corona Theatre
in Montreal before heading back to the U.S. for a show at Prince Music Theatre in Philadelphia. He will continue his tour
with stops in Cambridge, Massachusetts, New York City, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee, and Indianapolis,
Indiana before closing out the tour on January 31st with a show at the Marquis Theater in Denver, Colorado.
Hailing from Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia, Cody Simpson got his start recording albums in his room
at the age of twelve when he would cover songs by Jason Mraz, Justin Timberlake, and the Jackson 5 to name a few. He also
recorded some of his own songs including One and Perfect. A year later he had moved to Los Angeles with his family in order
to record his debut album and work with his producer to really get his music career on track. This proved to be a wise decision
as his debut EP which was released in 2011 sold 24,000 copies and surged to number 12 on the Billboard charts. He has appeared
on several television shows, usually playing himself, including Punk'd, So Random!, Figure It Out, Ridiculousness, AwesomenessTV,
Cupcake Wars, and others. In 2013 he toured all over the world including opening for Justin Bieber, with who he shares a manager,
during his European Believe tour. He has had two dolls made of him and has released two studio albums, Paradise and Surfer's
Paradise, and three EPs, 4 U, Coast to Coast, and Preview to Paradise. Cody Simpson appears to be well on his way to becoming
a household name and one of the biggest pop stars in the world.
After posting some of his
songs and covers on YouTube in 2009, Cody Simpson got noticed by Grammy nominated producer Shawn Campbell who has worked with
some of music's biggest superstars. It was Campbell who wanted to work with Cody Simpson and convinced him and his family
to relocate to Los Angeles and begin working on his music career. Shortly thereafter Cody Simpson recorded and released his
debut single YiYiYi which featured a guest spot by top selling rapper Flo Rida. His first video was for his song Summertime
and Cody continued gaining more and more attention leading up to the release of his debut EP 4U. After becoming bigger and
bigger Cody Simpson was asked to cover the song I Want Candy for the hit feature film Hop and his meteoric rise to the top
of the pop world was well underway.
Inside a packed house, the lights dim and international
pop superstar Cody Simpson makes his way onto the stage. The crowd erupts as he makes his way to the center of the stage and
the microphone stand. He cues the band and they play the opening notes to a hit jam from one of his albums like Paradise,
Surfer's Paradise, 4 U, or Coast to Coast. As the night goes on the hits keep coming and you and your friends are dancing
and singing along to song after song. Maybe if you are lucky you will get to hear Cody Simpson perform a new song off of his
upcoming album. Always known to have an incredible stage presence and a captivating voice, Cody Simpson really knows how to
connect with his fans no matter how big or small the venue in which he is performing. He is one pop performer any music lover
will not want to miss when he comes to town.
