Justin Bieber isn't the only celebrity to get his start on YouTube. Cody Simpson, a musician from Queensland, Australia, was also discovered by record producers after posting videos online of him singing, and the result has been a mainstream pop/R&B career in the industry. Simpson is coming off the smash single "Summertime," and his debut EP 4U has been a big hit, as well.
With a guitar in hand and video camera set up, Cody Simpson began his music career as a YouTube sensation in 2008 at age 11. Record producer Shawn Campbell stumbled upon Simpson and recognized his star power, and the results have been a dazzling music career for the youngster. Cody Simpson has reached the Top 20 on the Australian music charts, and success in the U.S. was quick to follow.
