Colorado Buffaloes Football Schedule
As the college football season approaches the excitement in the air in Boulder,
Colorado, home of the Colorado Buffaloes, reaches unbelievable heights. Last year Colorado had a tough time making their way
through the tough PAC 12 schedule but there is every reason to believe that this season the Buffaloes will show significant
improvement as they take on the cream of the crop of NCAA football. The 2014 season will be Colorado's second under head coach
Mike MacIntyre and during spring ball it was obvious that the entire team had finally fully bought into the new system. Quarterback
Sefo Liufau impressed in his second spring as did back up Jordan Gehrke who could end up taking some snaps this season as
well. Whoever is throwing the ball should have some great targets as D.D. Goodson, Nelson Spruce, and Bryce Bobo all had excellent
workouts proving that departed wide receiver Paul Richardson may not be missed too much after all. Overall the 2014 Buffaloes
will be much more experienced and bigger than last year's squad which should bode well for them as they go up against the
likes of Stanford, USC, Arizona State, UCLA, and others. If the Buffaloes are to make a move up the conference standings they
will need all of their biggest fans to show up for games in Boulder and help give the team a significant home field advantage
all year long.
The 2014 home schedule starts off with a bang on September 13th when the Arizona State Sun Devils come
to town. Beating the defending PAC 12 South champs will not be an easy task, but if the Buffaloes can pull out a win it will
go a long way in building the team's confidence and showing the rest of the conference that they are a force to be reckoned
with. On October 25th the UCLA Bruins come to Folsom Field looking to knock off the Buffaloes. UCLA is a team on the rise
and Colorado needs to get all of the wins they can against their South division rivals when they play in Boulder of they are
to improve on last year's conference record. The final home game of the season will take place on Saturday, November 29th
when the Utah Utes come to town. The final home game is always a time for celebration and every Colorado fan will want to
be in attendance for this one. Other home games include match ups against Hawaii, Oregon State, and Washington and StubHub
has tickets to every single Colorado Buffaloes game so get yours today.
Despite getting only
one win in the conference last season, hope springs eternal for the Colorado Buffaloes as they prepare for the 2014 season.
Last year's team was young and a bit undersized but after hitting the weight room in the off season as well the 2014 squad
is both more experienced and bigger, ready to take on the best the PAC 12 has to offer. Head coach Mike MacIntyre will surely
be able to rally his troops in his second season at the helm of Colorado football and the team showed marked improvement in
their spring workouts. This is a team that continues to get better and better and should really be humming by the time the
PAC 12 season gets underway.
Colorado is football country and Colorado Buffaloes football
games have long been some of the most exciting in the sport and game days in Boulder are not to be missed. Cheering for your
alma mater or favorite school and watching the student athletes lay it all on the line for school pride and a shot at playing
at the next level is one of the most intense feelings in all of sports. College football fans plan their entire Saturday to
celebrate everything that comes with the game. These hard core fans get up early and head off to the stadium parking lot for
tailgating before the game. Once inside the stadium, fans join together to make as much noise as possible and help the home
team leave with a victory. It is incredibly thrilling to be in the crowd when the star player takes the ball into the end
zone for a big win. When you head out for a Colorado Buffaloes football game you are sure to experience all of the excitement
that comes with a top tier college football game. The parking lot at Folsom Field will be filled with people gearing up for
the big game, grilling up some grub and sipping on a few beverages as well. It's all one big lead up to the main event, which
is the game itself. There is simply no better way to spend a day off than at a college football game cheering and celebrating
with thousands of other hard core fans.
Colorado Buffaloes PAC 12 Football
The Buffaloes play in the PAC
12 conference which is annually one of the top conferences in all of football. One of the things that makes the PAC 12 so
special is that each of the schools who were members of the PAC 10 have in-state rivals with whom they engage in bitter battles
each season. Teams like UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, and USC are the traditional powerhouses in the conference but all of the other
schools in the conference are capable of pulling off big upsets and seemingly coming from out of nowhere to win their division
as Arizona State did in 2013 when they emerged as the champions of the PAC 12 South. If you are looking to see some of the
best college football games of the year featuring athletes competing at the highest level you have come to the right place
in the PAC 12.
The tradition of Colorado football dates all the way back to 1890 and their historic
home of Folsom Field was built 90 years ago in 1924. Over the years Colorado has claimed one national title and 26 conference
championships as well as having produced one Heisman Trophy winner in Rashaan Salaam who won the award in 1994.
