to do battle with any team that dares step foot onto their home turf. The Rapids have some of the top players in Major League
Soccer this season, and it could be a big year for the club as a result. The team competes in the Western Conference, where
good teams are always lurking and looking to take away wins from a team like the Rapids. The Rapids had a solid 2013 season,
as they secured the final playoff spot in the conference. They were, however, ousted form the playoffs in the Knockout Round
by Seattle Sounders FC.
The Rapids will be looking to get revenge on Seattle for knocking them out of the playoffs last
season. When Seattle comes to Colorado this year, the Rapids are sure to pull out all the stops in order to secure a victory.
Fans will be packing the stands to be a part of this matchup in 2014.
Another team that the Rapids will surely be looking
forward to playing is Real Salt Lake. Last season Salt Lake put together a fantastic playoff run and reached the MLS Cup.
Salt Lake could very well be a top team in the Western Conference again this season, so a victory against them could prove
to be huge for the Rapids.
