StubHub in the community
At StubHub, we know we have a responsibility that goes beyond providing fans a
safe, convenient marketplace. That's why we're proud to contribute time and
resources in support of a number of worthwhile community organizations and
charities.
Employee volunteer outings in our home city of San Francisco have included the restoration of natural plant and animal habitats, the cleanup of Ocean Beach, and assisting at the San Francisco Food Bank. Our Customer Service team in East Granby, Connecticut held bake sales and holiday luncheons to raise funds for local charities.

Benefiting charity
Through our team and artist partnerships, StubHub continues to offer a variety of exclusive charity ticket packages - featuring premium seats, backstage passes, player and artist meet-and-greets, autographed memorabilia, and more - offering fans once-in-a-lifetime experiences and helping worthwhile causes at the same time.
Green Team
The StubHub Green Team is an employee-sponsored group that provides an open
forum in which employees can discuss and discover new ways to make sustainable,
environmentally friendly choices.
The StubHub Green Team was formed in 2007 as part of the overall eBay Green Team. Since its formation, we have spearheaded a number of initiatives to help make StubHub a greener company. Here are some examples:
- We began a composting program before our office building supported one. This meant StubHub Green Team members not only educated employees on how to use compost bins, but also hauled 2-3 large bags of compost down to the loading
docks every day where it could be picked up. In response to our efforts, our building recently began supporting a building-wide composting program.
- We organized similar programs to encourage and facilitate electronics and old shoe recycling.
- Every year, we sponsor green volunteer activities like picking up trash at local parks so people in the community can play baseball and soccer on clean fields and we can bond with our fellow employees.
- We publish monthly "green tips" to help educate fellow employees
Due in part to our efforts, the San Francisco office building where StubHub is based recently became LEED-certified.
