Country Thunder USA Breakthrough

The Country Thunder festival started its humble beginnings way back in 1993, when it was founded by promoter Larry Barr. During the first few years of its inception, the Country Thunder festival slowly began to attract a steady following. By 1999, the festival was drawing the likes of country music superstars like Faith Hill and Reba McEntire, which began to attract even larger crowds. After a move to its current location, the festival was able to accommodate huge crowds, with up to 100,000 people now flocking to the event. Due to the success of the Arizona-based Country Thunder festival, a Wisconsin event was created as well. Both events continually bring in the hottest country acts, and they offer unmatched entertainment options for festival goers of all ages.

Country Thunder USA Trivia

Where was the first Country Thunder festival held?

The first Country Thunder festival was held in Queen Creek, Arizona. By 2003, the growing crowds necessitated a move to a different venue, and the festival was moved to its current location of Florence, Arizona.
