Emerging from the post-grunge scene in 1995, Creed went on to become one of the best known of a series of Christian rock bands to take the airwaves by storm. Songs like "Higher" were inescapable at this time, flooding the radio while Creed's records occupied the highest slots on the Billboard charts. Now, concert tickets are on sale and this awesome rock band is back on tour.
The seeds that would develop into Creed were planted with vocalist Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti were still in high school together. Wringing out every drop of spiritual angst into his lyrics, Stapp penned a number of major hits that managed to earn airplay with relatively little promotion. Before long, the band was a major player on the national rock scene.
Creed tickets are now available, but don't count on them staying around for long. The fact is, there are still throngs of fans across the nation that want to see this band. Though Creed tragically broke up in the early '00s due to Stapp's prescription drug addictions and tensions in the band, they are back together and rocking out at venues all over the nation.
