Styx concert tickets are now available! This legendary band is hitting the road again to bring its litany of hits to its legion of loyal fans, much as they have done since 1961. Styx is the first band in history to release four consecutive triple platinum albums, and their fan base spans several generations. The band went by the name of The Tradewinds" and "TW4" for a time. When they signed a record deal with Wooden Nickel Records, they adopted their current moniker. They hail from Chicago, and over the years they have released more than a dozen studio albums. Their works have been sold millions of times over in every corner of the world, and their fans will no doubt be lining up to hear their latest renditions of classics old and new.
Named after the mythological Greek river that served as a boundary into Hades, it's no surprise Styx is recognized as a significant prog-rock band. Their prog influences gave way to anthemic rock as their career developed. Though their heyday has long since passed, Styx still has a large following throughout the world.
