The Zac Brown Band was formed by Zac Brown, an Atlanta born singer, songwriter and bandleader that formed his first group in 2002. Just a year into it he had crated his Home Grown label (today's Southern Ground) and released "Home Grown" that same year. The band hit the road and quickly became known for their amazing live performances.
