Cut Copy Tickets - Cut Copy Tour Dates

Cut Copy Schedule

If you want some infectiously fun beats and hooks that will make you want to dance, check out the songs of the Australian indie group Cut Copy. This fun electronic outfit may have started as a one-man home-recording project, but it has exploded into a full-fledged band that now heads out on tours all over the world. By blending indie rock, electronic, pop, and vintage disco to create their unique and tantalizing sound, Cut Copy has cemented their position in the indie world as one of best electronic groups in the world, and you definitely don't want to miss seeing them in concert as they head to the US this fall!

On October 29th, Cut Copy will be stepping out on stage at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado, where they will undoubtedly perform in front of a sold-out, wildly excited audience. With vintage disco sounds that are reminiscent of '80s pop, Cut Copy has become one of the most intriguing acts in the indie world, and they have won over fans with catchy tunes like "Hearts on Fire" and "Lights and Music", and now they are gearing up for another highly anticipated show.

When Cut Copy comes to Denver this October, make sure that you are in the audience by grabbing your tickets on StubHub as soon as possible. Cut Copy Background

Cut Copy is the brainchild of Melbourne-based Dan Whitford, who started out in music as a DJ. He eventually started to expand his musical skills and experimented with keyboards and samplers, and before he knew it he was creating indie low-fi catchy beats, so he decided to start producing his own music in his home studio. Modular Recordings decided to sign Whitford after hearing his demo tapes, and eventually the musical solo project became a complete band with the addition of Tim Hoey, Mitchell Scott, and Ben Browning.

With a complete live band, Cut Copy started to perform at major music venues and festivals. It's unusual for a new band to perform in front of 5,000 people at their first live performance, but that's exactly what Cut Copy did at the 2003 Livid Festival, and their impressive live performances quickly earned them a loyal fan base in Australia. The group's fame didn't just stay in Australia, though; soon this fun indie electro pop group started to make waves all over the world, and music lovers in the US couldn't get enough of Cut Copy's unique and hypnotic sound.

Since forming, Cut Copy has toured with acts like Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, Mylo, and Daft Punk, and they have also performed at some of the biggest music festivals all over the world. Regardless of where they perform, Cut Copy always knows how to excite their audiences, and everywhere they step out on stage they garner new fans. As Cut Copy performs in Denver this October, they are sure to win over even more fans, and you could be one of them!
