About DADA Life

Comprised of Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom, DADA Life is a Swedish electro-house duo, prominent in the house music scene. Known for their over-the-top stage antics and sense of humor, DADA Life has risen to become one of the most popular live shows within their genre.

Corneer and Engblom first met at a chili cook-off in Stockholm, Sweden. After talking about music with one another, they decided to make a track together, which became their first release ever. However, prior to forming DADA Life, Corneer and Engblom both had been separately involved in music since they were young.

After working together for a few years, they decided to dedicate their full-time efforts to DADA Life as their main project. They released their first single "Big Time" in the summer of 2006, and have continued to release a variety of remixes and singles, including "The Great Fashionista Swindle," "Vote Yes," and "Fun Fun Fun." Their remixed artists include the likes of Laidback Luke, Maskinen, Alex Gopher, and John Acquaviva. They have played in clubs and festivals all over the world, and have been featured in numerous compilation albums. Their unique sense of humor and upbeat energy makes them one of the most popular live acts on the EDM scene.

After paving their way with an abundance of hit singles, DADA Life was voted #89 in DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 list of the most popular DJs. Shortly after, DADA Life found their fame rising even more when they were voted #38 in the subsequent year. During the 2009-2010 Kaleidoscope World Tour, DADA Life gained significant exposure to thousands of fans all over the world when they had the opportunity to open for Tiësto, one of the biggest names in EDM.

DADA Life often headlines at famous EDM festivals, including the Electric Daisy Carnival and Ultra Music Festival. Some of their biggest hits include "Kick Out The Epic Motherf*cker," "White Noise/Red Meat," in addition to their remixes of Duck Sauce's "Big Bad Wolf."

While DADA Life remain professional musicians and producers, it seems their biggest goal is to have fun, play music, and give the audience the performance of a lifetime. The live shows have become downright spectacles, whether they're wearing banana costumes, throwing inflatables into the crowd, or surprising the audience with a full marching band to accompany their set, DADA Life's chaotic shows keep their fans coming back for more every year. In fact, DADA Life's band name was born out of their philosophy toward life and music, which is "Don't think too much about it, just have fun."

DADA Life's Breakthrough Album

DADA Life's music gained popularity beginning in 2006, when they released track after track of hit singles and remixes. But it was their official debut album in 2009 Just Do The Dada that gave DADA Life their spot in the EDM scene. The album was released by Australia's Hussle label, and included the tracks "Don't Snort The Yellow Snow" and "So You Wanna Be A Prankster?" After Just Do The Dada was released, DADA Life embarked on their tour, showing fans their sensational live productions and amazing stage energy.

DADA Life Trivia

Did you know that DADA Life petitioned the United Nations for their own sovereign nation called "DADA Land"?

No stranger to practical jokes, DADA Land organized an elaborate international rally to have supporters sign a petition for their inclusion as a sovereign nation. On March 6, 2013, they declared the day as DADA Land Independence Day, and even submitted a Declaration of Independence to the United Nations. Unfortunately, the UN wasn't so amused by DADA Life's antics, and the band was stopped from leaving Sweden as they attempted to leave for Miami Music Week. Their passports were temporarily revoked and DADA Life was forced to cancel their Miami performance when fans rioted, causing police intervention.

Fan Experience

With their wild stage productions and bizarre sense of humor, DADA Life is a breath of fresh air for the EDM community. They keep things exciting by simply having a good time with fans and engaging with their audience. This duo is known to take things to the next level, and in 2013, they even broke the Guinness World Record for "world's largest pillow fight" at the DADA Land Compound event in Chicago, which had over 3,000 participants. For the EDM experience of a lifetime, head over to StubHub today to get your DADA Life tickets to witness their extraordinary music and live performances.
