Dan Brown was inspired to

years later, Brown released his third Robert Langdon story called "The Lost Symbol," which was released in September of 2009.
The novel sold over one million hardcover and e-book copies on the first day of its release. The fourth novel featuring Robert
Langdon is called "Inferno," and it was released in May of 2013, which also went on to become a best seller.
Dan Brown had several novels under his belt by the early 2000s, but it was his fourth novel, "The
Da Vinci Code," that catapulted him to success. The book was an immediate success, selling millions of copies worldwide. The
novel was even adapted into a film in 2006, starring Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Alfred Molina, Jurgen Prochnow,
Jean Reno, and Paul Bettany. The film was also a resounding success, bringing in a whopping $224 million during its opening
