Dance Gavin Dance is made up of former members of the groups Farewell Unknown and Ghost Runner on Third, alumni of Seattle's Less Avenged Records. The outfit hails from Sacramento, California, and came to the music scene with the help of vocalist Jonny Craig, vocalist Jonathan Mess, guitarists Will Swan and Shean O'Sullivan, bassist Eric Lodge and drummer Matt Mingus. Their first EP hit the ground running in 2006, and Dance Gavin Dance has been extremely popular on the music scene ever since.
