A legendary producer and composer, David Foster was born in British Columbia and began studying piano at age five. He started working with Chuck Berry’s backing band after studying at the University of Washington’s music program, and eventually scored the hit with Skylark, an LA group in 1971 titled “Wildflower.” He has since become a longtime requested pianist, playing for John Lennon, Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross.
