The Schedule in 2013-14
The DePaul Blue Demons are ready to hit the hardwood this college basketball season and
take on some of the best teams in the NCAA ranks. This is a top-level program that is always stocked with quality players
that are looking to do whatever it takes to take home a win for their school. The Demons face a tough test early this season
when the Oregon State Beavers come into Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL on December 1st. The Beavers have a lot of offensive
talent on their roster, so defense will be a key for the Blue Demons in this contest. If the Demons can take their level of
play up a notch, they should be able to prevail against the Beavers.
The Creighton Blue Jays come to town to take on
the Blue Demons on January 7th. The Blue Jays have one of the top players in college basketball in Doug McDermott. McDermott
is a National Player of the Year candidate that is often an unstoppable inside-outside threat on the offensive side of the
ball. The Blue Demons will certainly have to key in on this talented forward if they hope to slow down this talented Creighton
squad. Fans will pack into Allstate Arena for this contest, and you can join them in the stands for one of the biggest games
of the season.
On February 3rd, the Blue Demons face perhaps their toughest test of the 2013-14 season when the Georgetown
Hoyas roll into Rosemont. The Hoyas boast one of the top basketball programs in the entire nation and are always in the hunt
for the National Championship. Make sure to be there in the arena for this game and you're sure to see some of the top hoops
action you've ever witnessed in person.
The DePaul Blue Demons basketball team is a Division
I program that plays in the Big East Conference. Some of the top teams in the Big East include Syracuse, Louisville, Georgetown
and Notre Dame, so DePaul has their work cut out for them on an annual basis in this league. The Blue Demons didn't have a
great 2012-13 season, struggling to win in conference play, and the program is hoping that some of their new recruits will
help better their record in Big East competition. This team certainly has the talent and motivation to shoot up the Big East
standings this season and have some great games on their upcoming schedule.
better than seeing a sporting event live and in person. Sports have been a part of cultures around the world for a very long
time, and spectators have always enjoyed watching athletes compete at the highest of levels. When you're there in the stands
at a sporting event like this one, you're treated to seeing some of the most talented athletes in the entire world going head
to head with everything on the line. There's nothing that compares to the atmosphere at a game, where you're surrounded by
fans that are all there to enjoy a great spectacle of sport.
College basketball is one of the most popular sports in
the United States, and for good reason. College hoops fans are some of the most passionate sports fans you'll find, and there
certainly is something special about the sport that brings out that passion. One of the most watched sporting events in the
world is March Madness, which occurs at the end of every college basketball season. Madness is a good way to describe that
spectacle, and fans of college basketball are simply mad about the sport.
If you've ever been to a game featuring the
DePaul Blue Demons, then you know how incredible the atmosphere at the game can truly be. Wouldn't you like to see your favorite
player steal the ball and go the other way for a thunderous dunk? You can when you head out to the arena for a big game this
season. Make sure to be there for all the DePaul Blue Demons basketball action this season.
