You could have bought MLB tickets to see the Tigers in their first AL Pennant game way back in 1907, if you are currently over a century old. Actually, those early years were good for Tigers playoff ticket sales, not so good for championships, as Detroit won Pennants in 1907, '08, and '09, but couldn't turn a World Series title out of any of them.
The Tigers were the American League champions in 2006, so tickets to postseason games should be hitting the sports ticket market early and often. This doesn't mean, though, that these tickets will be easy to get. Secure yours before it's too late.
