Diana Krall Tour Schedule
Jazz and pop sensation Diana Krall has been winning over critics and fans alike since
first bursting onto the international music scene in 1990. Her stunning voice is even more impressive live and seeing her
play piano and sing on stage is something every jazz pop music fan will definitely want to experience. She has performed on
numerous television shows, partnered up with Elvis Costello, and even played herself on television shows like Melrose Place.
She has dedicated fans all over the world and never fails to impress wherever she plays. Diana Krall is one talented musician,
songwriter, and singer that you will not want to miss while she is out on tour.
Diana Krall has a string of West Coast
dates lined up in April 2014 and if you live in the western United States you are in for a treat. The tour kicks off on April
4th at Cal State Northridge before continuing on to Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Segerstrom Hall in Costa Mesa on the following
night. On April 6th Diana will perform at Centennial Hall at the University of Arizona in Tucson followed by an April 8th
show at Ikeda Theater at Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona. An April 9th show at the Smith Center in Las Vegas is followed
by a show at McCallum Theater in Palm Desert, California on the 11th and a show at Fox Theatre in Oakland on the 12th. Her
last California show will be on April 13th at Jackson Hall on the U.C. Davis campus, after which she will play Arlene Schnitzer
Hall in Portland on the 15th and Paramount Theatre in Seattle on the 16th to finish up the tour.
About the Artist
from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Diana Krall began playing the piano at 4 and was raised by a piano playing father and a choir
singing mother. Her first album, Stepping Out, was released in 1993 and was followed by 1995's Only Trust Your Heart. In 1996,
Diana Krall released her third album All for You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio which earned her her first Grammy
nomination and also spent 70 weeks on the jazz charts. She has toured with Tony Bennett and collaborated with Ray Charles
and Paul McCartney, among others. To date she has released eleven albums: Stepping Out, Only Trust Your Heart, All for You:
A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio,Love Scenes, When I Look in Your Eyes, The Look of Love, The Girl in the Other Room,Christmas
Songs, From This Moment On, Quiet Nights, and 2012's Glad Rag Doll. She has won five Grammy Awards and continues to record
and tour as one of the most respected singers and pianists in the world.
All for You: A Dedication
to the Nat King Cole Trio, Diana Krall's third release was a major breakthrough for her both critically and commercially.
It earned her a Grammy nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album and was a huge hit, remaining on the Billboard Jazz Charts for
well over a year. Her following album, released the next year, Love Scenes was an instant hit following the success of All
for You and earned her another Grammy nomination as Best Jazz Vocal Album. Despite not winning the first two times she was
nominated, Diana Krall would take home the statue the next time she was nominated in 2000, winning the Grammy for Best Jazz

In 2003 Diana Krall married rock and
jazz musician Elvis Costello on the estate of Elton John just outside of London. The couple have twin sons who were born on
their third wedding anniversary. She has been awarded an honorary Ph.D. from the University of Victoria as well as the Order
of British Columbia.
