The University of Texas will once again be trying to capture the College World Series this year. If you would like to see this famous and successful team take the field at home, you will need to get Disch-Falk Field tickets for their home games.
The Longhorns' stadium opened in 1975. On opening day Texas won a doubleheader against the SMU Mustangs, shutting them out in both games. The Longhorns also went on to win the College World Series that year. The official name of this stadium was changed to UFCU Disch-Falk Field in 2006, when a local financial institution, University Federal Credit Union, bought the naming rights. The University of Texas Longhorns baseball program is one of the most successful in the nation. The Longhorns are consistently ranked as one of the top teams in the country, which means that they get more than a few of the other elite teams visiting UFCU Disch-Falk Field during the year. Florida State, CSU Fullerton, Rice, Nebraska, Clemson- they could all show up on the home game schedule of tickets available.
