Disney On Ice: 100 Years of Magic Comes to Life
For Disney fans everywhere, "Disney On Ice: 100 Years of Magic"
is a fabulous celebration of more than a century of Disney's most-beloved cartoon characters. The audience is treated to virtuoso
figure skating, entertaining comedy and a score filled with familiar melodies that will delight the young and bring back memories
for older attendees.
As with other Disney On Ice Shows, "100 Years of Magic" is made up of a series of
spectacular scenes, each set to a sing-along score of classic Disney songs. In one scene, Mickey Mouse leads his famous Main
Street Marching Band. In another, the rink is taken over by a troupe of international dolls skating to the tune of "It's a
Small World." There is also a spectacular "underwater" scene featuring the characters from "Finding Nemo," as well as entrancing
mini-stories featuring characters from "The Lion King," "Pinocchio" and other classic Disney films.
The current national tour of "100 Years of Magic" includes the city of Duluth, where audience members can enjoy both matinée

Since its 1999 premiere, "100 Years of Magic" has been constantly updated to include

chock-full of amazing costumes, perhaps the most stunning is a red sequined evening dress, which is designed by world-renowned
couturier Bob Mackie and worn by Disney's most fabulous fashionista, Minnie Mouse.
As with every Disney
On Ice production, the cast is made of up dozens of talented professional ice skaters who play a variety of roles in each
production. "100 Years of Magic" includes 65 characters from Disney's greatest cartoons, including "Snow White," "Pinocchio,"
"Cinderella," "Mulan," "Lilo and Stitch," "A Bug's Life," "Toy Story," "Pocahontas," "Beauty and the Beast," "The Little Mermaid,"
"Aladdin," "The Lion King," "The Incredibles," "Finding Nemo," and "Tangled." In addition, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy,
Donald Duck and Pluto are featured.
"100 Years of Magic" is choreographed by famed figure
skater/choreographer Sarah Kawahara, who is best known for her Emmy Award-winning choreography for the opening and closing
ceremonies during Salt Lake City's 2002 Winter Olympics. Musical Directors Art Kempel and Stan Beard also bring the show to
life with their delightful score made up of classic Disney songs.
The producer of the entire roster
of Disney On Ice touring shows is Kenneth Feld, the CEO of Feld Entertainment. Fled is best-known as the producer of many
of the country's most popular ice skating shows. The director of the show is the company's Developmental Character Director
Patty Vincent, who performed as a Disney On Ice skater for nine years.
With its colorful, well-loved characters and
amazing choreography, "Disney On Ice: 100 Years of Magic" is a superb celebration of the magical world of Disney. Thanks to
