DJ Tiesto Tour Schedule
Since bursting onto the EDM scene in 1994 Tiesto has made a name for himself around the
world as one of the premiere house DJs on the planet. Actually, referring to him merely as a house DJ is not entirely accurate.
Tiesto strives to push the limits of the subgenre making what has alternatively been referred to as progressive house, big
room house, and electro house. Whatever you want to call it, the music of Tiesto is full of heavy, catchy beats that never
fails to get even the most stoic crowd dancing. If you are looking to see one of the best DJs in the world, look no further
than Tieso, who is currently out on tour all over the world.
On January 26th Tiesto will play two shows in Aspen, Colorado,
one at 4:00 PM at Wagner Park with Axwell, and an evening performance at the Belly Up. He will then be part of the three day
Ultimate Music Experience at South Padre Island in Texas from March 11th through the 13th. This exciting festival will feature
Tiesto along with many of the other biggest names in EDM including Bassnectar, Zedd, Karnage, and more. The same festival
takes place from March 28th through 30th at Bay Front Park in Miami, Florida. If you are really looking to plan ahead you
can make your New Year's Eve plans well ahead of time and plan on catching Tiesto's December 31st performance at LIV Nightclub

Tijs Michiel Verwest has performed under several different names during his illustrious music career including
Allure, Da Joker, DJ Limited, DJ Tiësto, Drumfire, Handover Circuit, Passenger, Roze, Steve Forte Rio, Stray Dog, Tom
Ace, Wild Bunch, and TST, although he is certainly best known as DJ Tiesto. In addition to his DJing and producing career,
Tiesto founde Black Hole Records in 1997 and released two of his own albums, In Search of Sunrise and Magik, on the label.
He was listed as DJ Magazine's number one DJ in the world for three consecutive years from 2002 through 2004 and has been
nominated for a Grammy Award and performed at the 2004 Summer Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Athens. He has released four studio
albums as Tiesto: In My Memory, Just Be, Elements of Life, and Kaleidoscope. In 2011 he released the studio album Kiss from
the Blast under the alias Allure.
It was in 1999 that Tiesto really began to become one of
the most popular DJs on the planet. He began a regular monthly residency at the popular Sheffield nightclub Gatecrasher and
began touring more and more throughout Europe. The following year he remixed the song Silence by Delirium, and his mix featured
vocals by Sarah MacLachlan. This song helped Tiesto get some attention from the mainstream and the remix became a huge hit,
spending four weeks in the U,K,'s Top Ten and hitting number three on the Billboard dance charts. Soon after he released his
first U.S. DJ album Summerbreeze which brought him to the forefront of the American EDM scene.

1999, in between his residency at Gatecrashers, Tiesto flew to Amsterdam where he performed a twelve hour set, the longest
of his career and one of the longest sets ever by a musician. He is a well known philanthropist and has allowed his music
to be used for relief charities benefiting rebuilding efforts as a result of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami.
All of the money he received from royalties due to the commercials he re-donated to the specific charity. He became the worldwide
ambassador for the HIV/AIDS awareness charity Dance 4 Life in 2006 and in 2012 released Dance (RED) Saves Lives, in collaboration
with Project Red, which was intended to raise money to fight AIDS, additionally Tiesto pledged to donate 100,000 dollars to
the charity out of his own pocket.
