Earl Simmons was born on December 18, 1970 in Baltimore. He wound up growing up in the projects in Yonkers, New York and had a hard upbringing. He adopted the name DMX after gaining notice on the streets for his rapping and rhyming skills, and he was ultimately discovered. Since then, DMX has released six albums, and 16 singles have made the charts. This is definitely an artist worth seeing, as he's sure to provide an intense, energetic night of rap for everyone in attendance.
