Don Henley grew up in Texas and attended the University of North Texas but soon found him self moving to Los Angles to pursue the music business. While Henley was in L.A. he played for Linda Ronstadt's back up band which became the Eagles. The Eagles were tremendously successful with hits like "Take it Easy" but in 1980 the Eagles broke up and Henley went solo. It wasn't until Henley's third solo album that he saw great success and in 1994 he reunited with the Eagles to tour.
