NCAA basketball tickets to see the Drake Bulldogs men's basketball team have been around for a while. The team hasn't had much success traditionally in the "Arch Madness" Championships. Since the MVC began hosting championship tournaments in 1977, the Bulldogs have not won a single one (as of the 2006 season). In the late sixties and seventies, the Drake basketball team was hot, but NCAA Tournament appearances have been on the decline ever since.
The Drake Bulldogs don't have the storied history of some of the other NCAA basketball programs around the nation, but gall-darn-it, they've got heart. Drake is always a competitive school in the MVC, but just needs that little boost that will put them over the top. If the Bulldogs can recruit a good big man, they'll be sitting pretty for the next few years.
