confidence, armed with both some exciting recruits and some savvy upperclassmen who know their way around the gridiron. It's
never easy in the Pioneer League, but the Bulldogs have no intention of going quietly this season as they look to pile up

Football Team Info
The Drake Bulldogs football program has a history that stretches back to the 1890s, making it one
of the oldest football programs not just in the Pioneer League but in the entire country. Former Drake Bulldogs football players
have even gone on from the college ranks to make an impact on the NFL, which is why it's always a good idea to head out and
see these explosive playmakers in action. With a team that looks like it's geared up to make it very hard on the rest of the
conference, the Bulldogs are sure to give their fans some bone-jarring excitement that will be the talk of the campus, making
it a great time to snag your favorite team gear so you can see the action for yourself.
NCAA Football Experience
back millennia, people have been gathering for intense spectator sports, and that's not something likely to change any time
in the near future. Obviously things have changed quite a bit since the days of Roman chariot racing, but there are still
some big-time sports that routinely turn out fans by the tens of thousands. This is a sport that can be seen in all kinds
of ways, of course, but there's only one way to get the complete experience – and it definitely isn't sitting at home
wondering what the atmosphere of the big game is like while you stare at your disappointing flatscreen. When the game is on
the line and two talented teams are digging in, this is an experience that will speak for itself.
The Bulldogs have been a major staple of the Des Moines community for a while at this point, with
their founding happening all the way back in 1893 and building a strong fan base with some prominent wins and big-time playmakers.
With more than 575 all-time wins, 13 different conference titles and all kinds of winnings seasons, the Bulldogs always seem
to be in the middle of one incredible victory or another. This is also knee-deep in football country, and the enthusiasm for
the sport has been boiling over at Drake Stadium ever since it first opened in the mid-1920s. With a strong legacy and a prominent
modern program, it's not hard to figure out why game day is such an exciting one around Drake's campus.
Bulldogs Football Trivia
Did you know which Bulldog broke the record for most points in the history of the Pioneer
The answer is Billy Cundiff, the player who has gone down as the most reliable kicker in the history of the
program. In addition to the most points in conference history, Cundiff finished his stellar collegiate career with Pioneer
League records for most field goals and most extra points as well. After his days at Drake were over, Cundiff would end up
playing for a variety of teams in the NFL, making the Pro Bowl in 2010 with the Baltimore Ravens.

being there and seeing the drama unfold before your very eyes. Drake Stadium is the perfect backdrop for Bulldogs' football,
