The Dresden Dolls came together in 2000 and released their debut album three years later. Their unique live performances and jazz-hinted style gained them a loyal cult following in their native Boston. It quickly endeared them to indie crowds while they toured around. Their music can go from mournful to manic from song to song, expressed all through the original pairing of piano and drums.
