East Carolina Pirates Football Road Schedule in 2014
The East Carolina Pirates are set for another big season,
and 2014 could be a huge campaign for this program. The Pirates will take on some of the best teams in the sport of college
football, but they seem to have a roster that could push them to the top this season. The Pirates are a part of the new American
Athletic Conference, as this is their first season in the AAC. The team played well in 2013 in what was their final season
as a member of Conference USA. The Pirates were able to win 10 games last season, and six times they defeated their Conference
USA foes, which was a great way to close things out in that league. Now the Pirates turn their attention to their new conference,
and with it a whole new group of conference rivals. This team has to play some good opponents on the road in 2014, and they're
going to leave it all out on the field in order to get any many victories as possible.
The Pirates will have a tough
contest on their hands when they travel to Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati, OH to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Bearcats
often have some of the top players in the college football player pool, and that means they're usually pretty tough to take
down, especially at home. The Pirates will do everything they can to leave Cincinnati with a victory, but it's going to be
a real battle on the field.
East Carolina will close out their road schedule this season on November 28th when they
head out to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Tulsa usually has a tough squad that is equipped with an electric offense,
and that could very well be the case yet again in 2014. The Pirates will look to leave the Tulsa campus with a big victory
against a new conference foe. Make sure to be there for this matchup.
