The ECAC Hockey League is one of the six conferences that compete in NCAA Division I ice hockey and are not sponsored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference. One of the awards is the The Cleary Cup, named for famous coach Bill Cleary, and it is awarded to the regular season champion.
