As a sister venue to The Echo—a well-established music venue and night club in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles—the Echoplex hosts similar indie fare. Because of their proximity, people often refer to the Echoplex as being “below the Echo,” leading others to think “Echoplex below the Echo” is its full name. FYI: It’s not.
