Eileen Ivers was raised in Bronx, New York as the daughter of Irish immigrants. Her parents raised her on traditional Irish music, and she took to the fiddle naturally. She had other endeavors besides music at a young age and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Mathematics from Iona College. Her passion for music increased as she studied for her graduate degree of mathematics.
Eileen Ivers eventually began to turn her full attention toward music. She is a nine-time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion. She has also played with dozens of the top orchestras in the world, like the London Symphony Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra.
