Often favorably compared to bands like Phish and Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Ekoostik Hookah emerged in the ‘90s
as a hot jam band that people looking for a fun time would seek out for their amazingly charismatic performances. Fun-loving
to the end, this is a fantastic band to see live. Get Ekoostik Hookah tickets now!
Formed in Columbus, OH in 1991, Ekoostik Hookah is made up of frontman and keyboardist Dave Katz, guitarist Steve Sweeney,
bassist Cliff Starbuck and guitarist and vocalist John Mullins. After gigging around, the band added a few more members:
Drummer Eric Lanese, percussionist John Polansky and singer and songwriter Ed McGee.
Blending everything from country, blues, and atmospheric jazz-rock, Ekoostik Hookah has long been regarded highly for
their dreamy jam sessions. With six full-length albums to their names, the band has developed their sound over time—but
nothing sounds as great as when they perform live. Get some Ekoostik Hookah tickets
