for electronic music, or if you're even mildly into electronic dance music, then chances are pretty good that you've heard
of the Electric Daisy Carnival. This incredible electronic music extravaganza is the biggest electronic show around and the
biggest event happening in the EDM scene, possibly best described as the Woodstock of dance music, and it is all going to

a simple carnival, as it's an extremely awesome festival of electronic sound that brings together today's hottest DJs and
anyone involved in the dance scene that's making a splash. This is the biggest electronic music experience that you can get,

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (EDC) Background
The original Electric Daisy Carnival
was hosted in 1997 at the Shrine Expo Hall in L.A. In its inaugural years, the rave was hosted by multiple Southern California
venues, including: Queen Mary Events Park in Long Beach; National Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino; Los Angeles
Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park in L.A., Lake Delores Waterpark in Barstow; International Agri-Center in Tulare; and
Hansen Dam in Lake View Terrace. Established by Insomniac Events, they have also brought the festival to other places like
Texas and Colorado. And, 2009 marked the debut year for the event to be held in Puerto Rico. A year later, the event made
its way to Dallas, and in 2011, Orlando, Florida, was added as a location. In 2012, the EDC expanded to the Big Apple, and
in 2013, Chicago and London were added as hosts of the event as well.
In 2011, the Las Vegas EDC spanned over three
days and attracted 230,000 people! A year later, over 320,000 fans attended the three-day event. As of 2013, EDC in Las Vegas
is billed to be the "world's largest electronic music festival."
The Electric Daisy Carnival is easily one of the most
recognized, and by far the most popular, electronic dance music festival in the entire country, and it has only been getting
bigger with each year. This event grows bigger and more intense with each passing year, and has taken place all across the
country and is now even taking place all around the world. So while this is a mega-festival celebrating electronic music and
the artists that create it, this event is also about the people and the music scene as much as it is about the music. So come
for the music, come for some dancing, come for the stage, come for the lights, come for the electronic celebration, just as
long as you come. There are plenty of reasons to hop aboard the electronic music train, you just have to decide which of the
many reasons you want to go for.
Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (EDC) Lineup
If there's one thing that's
true about this one of a kind electronic music festival, it would be that there is never a shortage of incredible artists
to take to the stage and bring the noise in style. There's good reason that people have related this event to be the Woodstock
of electronic music, and that's because this is a mishmash of amazing artists that all come together for the love of music
and the people that listen to it. There have always been stellar artists coming from all over to perform at this festival,
with just a few of the past artists performing being: Moby, Pendulum, Tiesto, Skrillex, Afrojack, Benny Benassi, the Crystal
Method, Boys Noize, Infected Mushroom, Avicii, MSTRKRFT, Kaskade, and so many more! So if you were worried at all that this
year would be anything less than stellar, then you need to think again, because this year is bound to be the biggest one yet!
