A rock musical based on Giuseppe Verdi’s Italian opera, the Disney Theatrical production has music by Elton John,
lyrics by Tim Rice, a book by Linda Woolverton, Robert Falls and David Henry Hwang with original script by Auguste Mariette.
The show originally ran at the Palace Theatre in March 2000 with stars Heather Headley, Adam Pascal, Sherie Rene Scott and
Tyrees Allen.
