Born in 1981, Emily Wells has developed a unique sound that is all her own. Her music is founded on her violin skills, but

Emily Wells was born in Amarillo, Texas to a French horn teacher. A child prodigy, Emily began playing the violin at age 4
on a plastic violin she bought from Michaels. Clearly, Wells has come a long way since then! She has released numerous unofficial
releases, starting at age 13 with a cassette tape, but her "official" releases are Sleepyhead
. In 2009, she appeared on Last Call with Carson Daly, where she performed "Symphony 1 in the Barrel of a Gun,"
